Let us here at No.6 answer all your questions, put your mind at ease and explain how we use the highest quality product, Lycon wax on the market by our highly experienced No.6 therapists. Why is it the best? Lycon have specially formulated their waxes to be virtually pain free, with many people saying they would never have a non-Lycon wax once they’ve experienced a Lycon wax. There are many different formulas each have aromatherapy ingredients, to ensure your treatment is comfortable, soothing and gentle on even the most sensitive areas. Now you know which brand is best, let us share with you which Lycon wax we use at No.6. We use both strip/warm and hot/hard wax, although all of Lycons waxes have low working temperatures, so your skin won’t feel irritated or uncomfortable after your treatment. Get Ready and Go! New facial and beauty package

After hearing all about the new facial and beauty package at twice-award winning No.6 in Tunbridge Wells, Get Ready and Go, I had to give it a try. I mean, who doesn’t want to be pampered and be set for a night out? No.6 launched their online booking system last year which meant that I could snap up an appointment conveniently. On arrival I was greeted by Josie, their lovely receptionist, and after finishing with her client Aesthetician Beth came to welcome me. The ladies told me that owner Samantha had developed this new package due to popular demand. No.6 pride themselves on listening to their clients and developing signature facial treatments to meet clients’ needs and give the best possible results and experience. Firstly, I enjoyed a relaxing facial which involved a thorough cleanse to remove my makeup and prepare the skin for the next step – a Vitamin C micro-peel based light exfoliator, which smelt divine. Vitamin C brightens the complexion and the beads gently exfoliate for a deep pore cleanse. The activator is then applied which dissolves the micro-beads and allows the Vitamin C to be absorbed at a deeper level, to refine and give the skin

Do you recognise your own beauty?

Do you recognise your own beauty? If someone asked you to describe yourself, what would you say? Do you see the beauty in yourself? We recognize that in today’s modern world many of us undervalue the true beauty in ourselves. We see it in others but are harsh on ourselves. Our body is overworked and tired; it is understandable that sometimes we find it hard to feel beautiful. Celebrity magazines and social media filters constantly showcase what society deems beautiful, but here at No.6 we want you to determine your own beauty. Beauty is happiness. It is simple. It is believing in yourself.

Welcome back Beth!

Welcome back Beth! We’re very happy to have Beth (senior aesthetician/therapist) back after 2 weeks leave for her Septorhinoplasty. Beth’s been kind enough to share her experience of her recent cosmetic surgery and share pictures with us… #loveyourself #confidence #empowering #lovingyou I have been self-conscious about my nose since the age of 16. I’ve gained confidence with age (and discovered contouring ) so would no longer get upset by it but I still wasn’t happy.  I finally decided in October 2016 that I would make the move to go ahead with the procedure. I did some research, made some enquiries, decided on where I would go for my consultation and spoke to others who had the same procedure done.  After my first consultation I was 100% sure I wanted to go ahead with it. I booked an appointment with my surgeon the following month. Sr Lahoud answered all my questions before I’d asked them, drew diagrams to explain the Septorhinoplasty procedure and discussed what we would change and realistic results. I have scar tissue from a previous operation and that can make it harder to get my desired results. We then booked the operation and pre-op.

Redensity I treatments with Haley

Today Staff Nurse Haley is talking about Redensity I. Redensity I is a light dermal filler with a unique combination of Hyaluronic Acid, powerful Antioxidents, Minerals, Vitamins and Amino Acids. It restores balance by adequately nourishing the skin from within allowing your skin rehydration, protection and redensification. Hyaluronic Acid is an essential skin component. It acts like a sponge that retains water, keeps the skin moisturised, plumped and healthy. The treatment is performed by Nurse Haley. To begin a numbing cream will be applied to cleansed skin. Once removed Haley will preform microinjections to the treatment area to ensure the product is spread evenly into the skin. Redensity I can be used to treat the face, neck, chest and hands. A course of 3 treatments 3-4 weeks apart is recommended and approximately 2 treatments per year to maintain the results. In combination with this treatment Haley is keen to promote appropriate and effective skincare at home. She always takes time to recommend a skincare regime that suits your individual needs. A course of 3 treatments is £550 or each 1ml syringe is £200.
