Sculptra® Treatment in Royal Tunbridge Wells
Sculptra, also known as ‘the liquid facelift’, is a filler product which works by stimulating the production for new collagen in the skin. Sculptra can be used to give lift to the lower face and cheeks, add volume to a thin face or simply increase the firmness of the skin. It is also used to correct skin depressions such as wrinkles, folds and scars.
Unlike traditional fillers Sculptra is a bio-stimulant made from Poly-L-lactic acid and acts by replacing collagen and volume subtly over time by encouraging your own natural collagen to form. The results are not immediately visible and collagen will be stimulated over the course of treatments. There is little down-time and you can carry on with normal activities but as with any injectable, bruising is a possibility.
What Is Sculptra®?
Sculptra® is an injectable biostimulatory treatment made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Instead of filling lines directly, it works by stimulating your skin’s own collagen production, helping to restore structure, volume and firmness over time.
The result is smoother, plumper, more youthful-looking skin that develops gradually and naturally.
